She lost her father a few years back. He was ailing by Cancer since a long time. Her mother Mrs. Tanima* went to New Delhi for better earnings to sustain the family requirements.
With an aspiration to see a strong future Jiniya* was admitted to the model school 3 years back. She is an attentive and good student.
She has special inclinations in Computers. Jiniya* is noticeably progressing in learning lessons in computers. She has scored more than 80% in Computers in the last Summative Evaluation Tests. “I like learning Computers so much. And I wait for the practical classes eagerly.”, says Jiniya*.
She is conversant in creating files, folders and save those properly. She can even lock the created folders with security passwords for keeping those secured. Good in applications like Word Art, Paints etc. She can create Posters and Paint with those. She saved all her creations in a folder named ‘Jiniya* – KSSN’.
In Office applications she is at ease with Words. Thus she can make her own and others ‘Resume’ as well. Very comfortably she can insert ‘Text Box’, ‘Table’ in Words file. Learning gradually she now manages Table applications easily by merging and/or inserting cells, rows etc.
Jiniya* searches her subjects of interest through Internet quiet confidently. She loves looking at her School Premises through ‘Google Earth’. Often she looks at her School Premises through ‘Google Map’.
Once her mother said, “I felt proud and very happy when my daughter shows our house in the smart phone. Only because of the Computers Classes at the School made this possible.”
Thus Jiniya a little girl from remote village of Sunderabans sees the world beyond her surroundings and aspire to see more when grows up with the help of Computers.
