Access to Knowledge through Computer Education

Sampa* Mondal is a student of 4^th Standard in our model school Kishalay Sishu Siksha Niketan (KSSN). Her father Mr. Laltu* Mondal is a daily wage labourer in cultivations at the vicinity and earns on an average only INR 6000.00 per month. With such steep income Sampa’s mother looks at the household core with sheer hardship. Despite struggling hard with financial steepness both of Sampa’s parents dream to see their daughter have a proper modern education with all essential lessons to face the modern competitive world. They are happy to see their daughter budding with all modern essential lessons with Computers under the school curriculum with facilitating Computer Lab.

Though, an average student in book based subjects Sampa has special interest in learning Computers. She is learning various operations fast and very comfortable operation the applications she learns. She can draw various kinds of pictures now- night sky full of stars, village life etc.

Sampa can prepare her Resume fast in the Words application. She can alter Screen Saver and Timer also. She can create folder while use it in a just way.

Internet browsing is a favourite task for Sampa. She tries out searching information of the subjects they learn in the school. She confidently searches locations using the Google Map.

Very pleasantly she says, “One day I’ll buy a Laptop by my own earning.”
