One of the main objectives of the ParaConstruir Foundation is to contribute to the improvement of the quality of our beneficiaries and help them begin their employment in the construction sector.
Thanks to the contributions of donors we have been able to continue with our programs and they can have the necessary tools to guarantee their learning among themselves: overalls, boots, as well as the ticket to attend the classrooms.
One of our construction teachers who began training with the “Empowering women in the construction sector” program is now working on a construction site as a plumber or specialist in hydrosanitary networks (plumbing).
She seeks for her children to have a better quality of life, to be able to improve their income and provide them with education and nutrition appropriate to their ages, since seeing them grow healthily and fulfill their dreams are one of her life goals.
This gender inclusion project has allowed the women of Medellín to change paradigms, become empowered and become aware of their potential. With this we conclude with a great lesson...
