As part of the current activities, financial education workshops were held for a group of 20 young people from children's homes in Warsaw, Zielonka Pasecka, Paseka, Skopanie and Kisielany. The workshops were held in January and February 2025.
Additionally, young people aged 18+ who had already left children's homes and entered the process of independence were invited to the project. The 10-person group learned for two days how to manage a budget, take care of savings, sign contracts, and how to build their economic capital.
The aim of the project was to increase the knowledge and skills of young people from excluded groups, who are much more vulnerable to the homelessness crisis and economic exclusion.
One of the tasks within the project was for young people to develop a plan and budget for a social project that they could implement for the local community.
