The school project update
Things have been happening very nicely in Ghana. After a small donation by my self to start things rolling to get the school staff and students excited. Materials were brought in. Things like bricks and cement. So that the framing out of the space can begin. They had a day of community help the builders. By coming to carry buckets of sand and soil to the site of the new class. This help to move thing along nicely. We also received pictures to support and depict the daily struggles.
We also had some days of pause due to the holidays (Christmas & New years) and presidential electionsl at the end of the year. This like other countries, took front and center. As the country looked to select proper leadership.
as the new year has arrived the project now jumps back on the front burner as the priority for the community and the origination. I will be making a face to face visit in May to continue to make sure the group knows that we are working to continue to gather materials needed to make this request come true. We continue to stay in contact with leadership on the Ghana side for updates weekly. As they tackle other projects with in the cmmunity. With that the organization will push to bring awareness to this project.
