The majority citizens are dis empowered and set against each other using ethnicity, religion and other factionalism. In the absence of a trusted public professional media channel, existing channels especially private radio are a source and channel for violence.
URN provides daily ready to use news and information for 120 media houses using trusted, professional non-political journalists, focusing on issues and raising community voices. Media practitioners in private media access a fact checking service that allows them to cut through the fog of well crafted disinformation. A genuine effort is made to ask those with political, cultural and religious power to be accountable and answer for actions or inaction
