Dear supporters of Rockies Organization,
We hope this finds you well. Updating you from this side, it has been a holiday for our students and we want to bless the Lord for your support that enabled us to partly accomplish one of the training shelters for our students. Part of the team is now able to train under the shelter, which gives them more time to work condusively and reduces on the rate of getting sick for the students. They are nolonger exposed to direct sunshine, or rain, which could dehydrate them and at the end of the day, make them sick, increasing our expenditure on medication. It was a very productive holiday, many new skills in entreprenuership, public speaking, performing arts among others were got by our students. By the time of going back to school, their mindset were ready to concetrate.
We are still left with one more shelter to accomplish and when this is done, then we shall be assured of enough space, for a better and condusive training environment for all our students. We call upon you to continue supporting this cause, for a better future of our young starts in Uganda and East Africa.
Thank you again, and may you always be blessed.
Sincerely yours,
Ssozi Brian
Dear Friends and supporters of Rockies Organization,
We thank you for your continued support, and it is through your efforts that we were able to keep all our supported students safe and they have now happily reported back to school. In a special way allow us to thank Ms Viktoria and her Family with Friends, together with Ralf and Family, who made it possible for all our beneficiaries to have Masks to keep them safe as they go to school. We also thank you for the generosity during the Giving Tuesday and the recurring donations you are making for the Organization to thrive.
All the students have reported back to school though with partial payments, we believe with your support, we shall be able to complete. We are also planning short courses in performing and creative arts for the Academy over weekends, we shall keep you posted.
Our construction program of the studio rooms where trainings can take place continues and we still need your support here. In the next report, we shall give you a detailed report of how far we have reached.
Thank you once again and we wish you the best of 2022.
Kind regards,
Dear beloved supporter,
We hope this again finds you well and your family. If you have lost someone because of the pandemic, we grieve with you and we have you at heart.
It has been a very slow period especially for us who are more into entertainment and education. Hopefully normal business will begin next year if all goes well.
Our girls and boys have continued to do trainings and make rehearsals so as to stay in shape and focused. We have been able to have all our beneficiaries stay on track without being diverted by unbecoming behaviours. It is through that little support you send to us and helps us maintain and look after these young people.
We were also able to give back to the young starts as we started a program of training the young ones who have been very idle at their homes.
We are excited about the coming months since we have started getting immunization dozes, maybe if we have enough to immunize a bigger percentage, the lockdown will be fully shifted and we can operate again.
Thank you for always supporting us and standing with us in the very trying moments.
Sincerely yours,
Dear friends of Rockies,
We thank you for your continued support in the darkest times of the World. We bless the Lord that we are still alive and kicking. Proud to have Talents that through continued practice, mentorship and counselling we still have all our youth especially the girls, happily joining back without enagging themsleves in unbecoming behaviours.
In one Kabale district alone, found in South western Uganda 2467 young girls got pregnant in a span of one year, since the schools closed last year. This means, almost 7girls got pregnant everyday.
We have been able to provide the youth we holistically take care of with the basic needs that would attempt them into acts leading them to pregnancy, engaged them in trainings and now they have resumed school, in a better version than they have never been before. They have better life and vocational schools to become self-reliant as they graduate from their different levels.
This has been possible because of your support towards our cause. We request that you continue supporting us to enable us support the young people we work with as the second wave hits the World.
Kind regards,
Brian Ssozi

2020 was a year of lessons, possibilities, challenges and opportunities. It taught us how to think outside the box and how important it is not to put all our eggs in our basket. I am happy to report that we have learnt great lessons and already put in practice and we are now seeing the results of this. Due to the effects of the pandemic like we communicated earlier, we changed our focus to the health of our beneficiaries and staff, sustainability of the organization and stakeholder engagement.
We thank you for standing with us since March 2020 to date. We wouldn’t have managed to survive the pandemic, if it wasn’t for your support. With your support we managed to have enough food for the entire team of Rockies, even when we were not working. We were able to have sufficient medication, shelter, and keep the standard operating procedures as described by the ministry of health.
All our twelve candidates were able to go back to school, register for their final exams amidst these challenges and they have now entered their final term to sit for their final National exams starting this March. We are hoping for the best from them.
One of our beneficiaries got an operation of rectal cancer which coasted us almost USD 8000, because of your generosity we were able to go through this challenge and we are happy to report to you that she is now on a recovery process and she is steadily improving. Thank you for painting a smile again on her face.
In other good news, we were able to scientifically host a Christmas show at Pope Paul Memorial Hotel Ndeeba, for the younger stars were missing stage for almost a full year. It was a great experience having the performers step on stage again and also seeing our clients being entertained. We could see their thirsty for entertainment as they had taken so much time without having such fun, but also the enthusiasm of the team. We made a Christmas Party for the beneficiaries, and they swept off the year stress of the pandemic. Attached are a few photos, for you to have a feel of how these events unfolded.
Thank you again for your support, may you be blessed abaundantly.
