Due to COVID shutdown of Schools-- the process and operations of Shwopnochura Shafat Memorial School was slowed down from 2020 to 2021. Due to the normalization of COVID-19 pandemin and reopening of schools in Bangladesh from March-- the inaguration of the school is now to be held in August 2022.
Progress: The two storied building is now fully completed.
Fund are now needed to purchase rest of the furnitures, at least operational cost for 6 months, curriculam is being developed with experts in the field of Primary school education, seeking instructor for the regular and computer classes .
Audio-visual room for learning iis being designed.
Educational games and learning materials are listed for purchase.
Admission notice for the parents in the comumunity will be distributed at the end of May.
Day care set up will be completed in collaboration with a local Non Profit Fulki that will be providing their service of teaching two teachers and setting up a room for the after-school day care for the children of the industrial workers in the community.
