Updates on Shafat Shwopnochura Memorial School

By Rehnuma Karim, Ph.D | Founder and President of Heroes for All Inc

Project Updates

Shafat Shwopnochura Memorial school had to pause it's activities since May, 2024 for an unexpected calamity in which unlawfully a perpetreiter was threatening the students from coming to school. The perpetrieter's intention was to unlawfully take over the running school with scare tactics telling the students' parents that we are putting poison in the nutritional meals and also cutting of water line from outside.

We have filed a legal lawsuit against the perpetreiters and won the case in the lower court and the case has been sent to the higher court. The perpetreiters are also now in bail but for the safety of the children-- we have put a pause in the school activity untill we take action against the wrong doers who are trying to harm the community by stopping the progressive learning we are promoting .

We need your support during this emerging crisis. The law is working for us and hopefully we will resume the school in two months.

Our conviction to continue is much stronger now despite these barriers as we believe with strong and positive intention --all uncertainities and problems can be removed.

Despite this one crisis , we are happy to report that the other projects both in USA and in Bangladesh are going well.
