Since we started our Mobile School Fundrasing Challenge we have been overwhelmed by the support that has been provided by our generous donors whom to date have fundraised £5,496.83. Our volunteers have undertaken a range of challenges including car washing, selling ice-lollies in school and non-uniform days. We have also received donations from schools and local businesses as well as the generous support that has been offered through our GlobalGiving Donors.
To help us achieve our target faster, we have committed to donating £25 of every project fee paid by participants of our regular teaching programs and our special interest groups, until we reach our £10,000 target. We ask you to please continue to support us to reach our goal, so that we can take education to remote villages in Rajasthan where children do not have access to formal learning. We guarentee that every penny donated will reach the communities for which you are fundraising. We are a small organisation that deliberately keeps its running costs low.
More information can be found about the lack of available schooling resources in India such as buildings, teachers and resources in this article http://infochangeindia.org/education/analysis/a-dismal-report-card.html, which we hope you will find interesting.
To learn more about how you can visit India, see our work and spend time working with rural communities please call the team on 00 44 7515 857865.
Thank you again for your generous support & dedication to our cause.
