A Library for Children Living in Residential Care

Thank you for following the progress of this project and for believing in the importance of bringing books to children living in residential care.

Although fundraising has been slower than we had hoped, the project remains active and we are fully committed to making it happen. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to creating a welcoming library where children can discover the joy of reading.

During the past months, our team has continued planning the project together with the residential home. We have been refining the library design, identifying the books that will best match the children's ages and interests, and preparing the reading activities that will accompany the library once it is installed.

We are also continuing to share the project with supporters and partners who care about children's literacy and well-being, with the hope of reaching the funding needed to begin implementation.

We know from our experience that access to books can have a lasting impact on children's lives. For children growing up without parental care, a comfortable place to read and books they can call their own can provide comfort, inspiration, and opportunities to dream.
