Why This Project Matters
Contributing to life knowledge is often underestimated. But when we listen to the unaccompanied reality of rural youth, we realize it’s urgent, transformative, and deeply human.
It’s what allows a rural young person to say: “Today I understand more about myself. Today I know how to move forward.”
Thanks to your support on GlobalGiving, we continue planting dignity, tools, and community.
Impact Report – Cycle 1: Emotional Dimension
What the Data Reveals: In the 4 rural schools that completed Cycle 1 – Emotional Dimension, the findings are striking:
87% of students experience one or more of the following:
Emotional life in rural youth is active—but rarely supported. These spaces are not optional; they are essential.
Rural Young Women: More Anxiety, Fewer Tools
This cycle primarily impacted rural young women (66%), who report higher levels of anxiety than their male peers:
Women seem to identify the emotion more clearly, but have fewer tools to manage it. This calls for more sensitive, gender-responsive support.
Our goal is to provide rural students with strategies for recognizing and managing emotions, so they can make more intentional life choices.
we are empowering rural youth in every dimension and inspire them to build the life they want to live!
