As we continue to work on our premises in the Eastern Cape we have begun the process to purchase a property that will fill most of our needs for the plans we have for the future.
As part of our planning we are building a 200 square meter vegetable garden. The garden will be designed to provide much needed highly nutritious food that can asisist in the immediate needs of those that require it.
Although our focus is not on running feeding schemes we have identified the need for supplying food to persons in immediate need. The garden will specifically be aimed at growing fast growing high volume nutritional foods such as cabage, carrots, spinach and tomatoes.
The garden is designed to have varying sections with varying irrigation and growing units. This will enable us to have areas for plants that need more attention and more irrigation whilst having areas where less attention and irrigation is required for crops like broccoli, cualiflower and others.
It is our hope that this garden will anable us to help more people in our direct area with this much needed tool.
