Between January and September 2026, Banco de Alimentos de Uruguay distributed the equivalent of 99,146 glasses of milk to 39 social organizations, combining powdered and liquid milk.
Behind these figures is the daily work of organizations supporting people in vulnerable circumstances. At Fundación Los Rosales, where the photograph accompanying this report was taken, the milk they receive is used for children’s breakfasts, afternoon snacks, and meal preparation. One essential food supports several moments throughout their day.
The support we receive through GlobalGiving contributes to this effort, alongside donations from companies, other donors, and our network of partners. Every contribution helps us continue delivering milk to the organizations that need it.
Over the coming months, we want to continue supporting this network. To sustain these deliveries, we need your continued generosity.
Thank you for standing with us and helping support children’s nutrition in Uruguay.
