This project will provide 7,500 liters of milk each month to vulnerable children across Uruguay. By ensuring they receive the nutrition they need to grow up healthy and strong, we are helping to support their overall well-being and future. Many of these children depend on the social programs they attend for daily meals, and this milk will offer them essential nutrients like calcium and protein to aid in their development and give them the chance to thrive.
Many of the institutions we support care for children who face food insecurity, and they often find it difficult to provide powdered milk for daily snacks. Since many of these places are also schools, it's especially important that the children receive proper nutrition to grow, learn, and thrive. Sadly, powdered milk is not something we frequently receive as donations, making it harder for these institutions to give the children the nourishment they need.
This project will ease the financial strain on our beneficiary institutions by providing them with the powdered milk they need, which is quite expensive in Uruguay. By covering this essential item, the institutions can allocate their limited funds towards enhancing the nutritional value of the other meals they serve. This way, they can offer more well-rounded nutrition to the children without the added financial pressure of purchasing milk themselves..
Our goal is to provide 37,500 glasses of milk for children each month.
