Completing the Circle of Care: Dairy Farm Now Operational

Dear Friend,

We are pleased and grateful to share that the Noble Compassionate Dairy Farm has now been completed and has moved from construction into active use.

What began as a vision to create a sustainable and compassionate source of nourishment for the children of Noble International School and the resident monastic community has now become a living, functioning reality.

Project Completion

The dairy shed infrastructure has now been completed, providing a safe, shaded, and well-organised environment for the cattle. The completed facility includes covered housing, feeding areas, milking and handling spaces, drainage provisions, ventilation, lighting, and protective side coverings to support animal welfare and daily farm operations.

The cattle have now been introduced to the facility and are being cared for within the completed shed. The photographs attached show the completed structure in use, with the animals housed safely and feeding comfortably within the farm environment.

Work Completed

Key components completed include:

  • Completion of the main dairy shed structure

  • Roofing and protective side covering installation

  • Internal stall and animal handling areas

  • Feeding troughs and organised feeding spaces

  • Drainage and water runoff systems

  • Flooring and surface preparation

  • Ventilation, lighting, and fan installation

  • Safe access areas for daily care and farm operations

  • Introduction of cattle into the completed facility

This marks a significant milestone for the project, as the essential infrastructure is now in place to support the long-term welfare of the animals and the daily needs of the community.

Use of Funds

Funds raised through this project have supported:

  • Construction of the dairy shed

  • Structural materials and roofing

  • Labour and site preparation

  • Drainage and sanitation systems

  • Flooring and internal layout works

  • Stall and feeding area preparation

  • Equipment and facilities required for daily animal care

These contributions enabled the project to be completed in a careful, phased manner, ensuring that the farm was not rushed, but built with attention to safety, hygiene, animal welfare, and long-term sustainability.

Impact

The completed dairy farm will help provide a sustainable source of fresh milk for the children at Noble International School and the resident monastic community.

Beyond nutrition, the farm represents a model of compassionate stewardship — caring for animals with dignity while supporting the wellbeing of children, monks, and the wider community.

The project also strengthens the school’s broader vision of self-sufficiency, environmental care, and responsible living. It is not merely a dairy farm, but a circle of care where nourishment, kindness, sustainability, and community support come together.

With Gratitude

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every donor and well-wisher who helped make this project possible.

Your generosity has turned a meaningful idea into a completed and functioning farm. Because of your support, the children and community now have access to a sustainable source of nourishment, and the animals are cared for within a safe and compassionate environment.

Thank you for being part of this journey and for helping us complete this circle of care.

Together, we have built something that will continue to nourish life, community, and compassion for years to come.
