This project will establish a sustainable, ethical dairy farm to provide fresh daily milk for children at Noble International School and the resident monastic community. Rooted in Ahimsa and environmental care, the farm ensures lifelong welfare for animals, zero waste, and community empowerment. Surplus calves support low-income families, creating long-term transformation
Children and young monks in rural communities lack daily access to nutritious milk, essential for healthy growth and focus in learning. Rising costs of milk and shortages in supply make the monastery increasingly dependent on external vendors. Current systems are not sustainable, and the community needs a reliable, ethical, long-term source of nutrition.
The Noble Compassionate Dairy Farm will produce fresh milk daily using a high-welfare, zero-grazing model. It incorporates ethical animal care, sustainable feed production, and modern management practices. With free-stall housing, on-site concentrate feed (33% cheaper), and a non-culling policy, the farm ensures a consistent, nutritious supply for schoolchildren, monks, and community members
The farm will create lasting community transformation by ensuring nutritional self- sufficiency, reducing costs, and building practical agricultural knowledge among youth. Surplus calves will support struggling families, enabling micro-livelihood opportunities. The model is scalable, replicable, and environmentally sustainable, reducing waste and promoting organic soil enrichment.
