Talandira, a person with a disability, faces significant barriers in accessing basic necessities. Our project aimed to:
- Provide adaptive tools for daily living
- Support income-generating activities suited to his abilities
- Ensure access to healthcare and social support
Key Achievements:
- Provided a customized wheelchair and adaptive equipment
- Trained Talandira in a skill or trade
- Facilitated healthcare access and support
Impact:
- Improved Talandira's independence and confidence
- Increased community awareness on disability inclusion
Challenges & Lessons:
- Adapting solutions to individual needs was crucial
