During this pandemic time, our work to teach handwashing has never become more important than now.

We thank everyone for the support they gave us in these pandemic days, with the money we were able to deliver a small part of what we needed, and we were able to help the community.

We did not reach our goal; but our desire is strong to continue and not stop at the moment that we need the most.

We will be able to contain the disease on the borders within our most vulnerable communities, and we will achieve it with your support.

Please follow the SODIS Foundationo in our next project.

Thank You

We are happy that our staff in San Pedro de Buena Vista, is working hard with the people to teach them how to wash their hands.

In front of bank office, markets, pharmacy … we have installed hand wash station.

In the same time, we are working with teachers so they can also install hand wash station at the school door.

With the help of an international institution (CAWST) we are working together to find alternative solutions that local people can do, when for example they don't hace acces to soap.

Next week we are hopping to distribute mask and gloves to the local hospital. We still need your help to be able to prevent this disease in the poorest area of Bolivia.

 Dear supporter,

Our local team is working hard involving the Health sector of San Pedro de Buena Vista (SPBV). With them, we have mapped the whole community to know where all the people house.

The community of SPBV, is a spread community. Sometimes they (our local team) have to walk hours between houses. It’s a big challenge to visit every people. This is why we made a video, to explain how to wash hands in quechua, the local languages.

This video is shown in small hospital and everywhere possible.

This is a first step, we have still a lot of work to do. The next step: home made mask. For doing that we are seeking a group of women from SPBV to sew. In that way, those women can have an extra income. Also, we love the idea that the people of their community are helping their own people.

We still need your support to buy the specific cloth, and to print the wash hand banner !
