Losing one's eye sight should not be equal to losing one's living capacity. Visually-Impaired People (VIP) need to re-build career through technological assistance, and it is crucial for them to learn screen reader, such as NVDA in order to access information. This project aim to create various resources and possibilities for VIP with up-to-date technology and to help five VIP as a demo. We offer training courses and support to arrange the job placement of knowledge work accordingly.
This Project will solve the job placement of five VIP to re-build their confidence and career.
We will provide vocational training for five visually impaired people who have strong desire to become knowledge worker, and enhance their competitiveness through computer training courses and provide job placement services as a pilot demonstration.
It is very difficult to assist VIP re-build their career. By training five visually impaired people to be able to independently work with sighted colleague in workplace . This program will demonstrate that the well-trained impaired people have the capacity to work well and can gain integration into the society again in the long run.
