The Urgent Medical Needs in Makindu continue, and thanks to you, Makindu Children's Program continues to provide access to urgent and emergent medical care. The fund established has helped get kids hearing aids, foot surgeries, vocal cord surgery and rehabilitation, hospital stays for traffic accidents and end of life care for one boy with AIDS. With so many kids in this small area and such little resources, medical needs are never ending.
Even though this project is now retired on GlobalGiving, the medical needs remain and kids with HIV are the most vulnerable.
