Summary

Many people including Bruno's family were forced to flee to escape the tropical cyclone Batsirai surge that swept their home. When the storm was over, most people were left with only their homes without roofs. Most belongings were gone. Because of your contribution to the cause of the recovery of the victims of this cyclone, we are able to help Bruno's community who lost almost anything that they own. With the donation we receive, we are able to provide emergency essentials to this family

Challenge

The island nation of Madagascar, already reeling from flooding rains from Tropical Storm Ana on January 22 and a devastating drought in southern parts of the nation, was bracing for the expected arrival of Tropical Cyclone Batsirai on Saturday. Batsirai's rains will likely cause extensive flooding and major damage to the country, and the storm has the potential to be one of the top five most expensive disasters in Malagasy history (Masters, 2022)

Solution

We are joining efforts to ensure equality and basic human rights are met for our beneficiaries. Our goal as a non profit is to impact our communities, socially and economically. The community has started clearing, cleaning, renovating. With the donation we receive from donors, we are able to provide essentials to families to pursue their initial efforts, finish their renovation, and soothe their trauma. Each donation are making a remarkable difference in people's lives.

Long-Term Impact

Thanks to the continued support and commitment of donors and partners, the project will educate families allowing them to rise out of poverty which will provide for their families' health and well-being. We will give careful consideration to how your donation can make the biggest impact on the most people in need.
