This microproject will provide community-based academic support to 90 children across Fundacion Tiempo de Paz's three community centers in Medellin. Through tutoring in literacy, mathematics, English, computer classes, and homework assistance, children will strengthen their academic and digital skills, improve school performance, and build confidence. Donor support will help reduce educational gaps, prevent school dropout, and create brighter futures for vulnerable children.
Many children in vulnerable communities in Medellin face educational challenges due to limited access to academic support, technology, and safe after-school environments. These barriers can lead to poor school performance and increase the risk of school dropout. This project will address these gaps by providing 90 children with tutoring in literacy, mathematics, English, computer classes, and homework assistance across Tiempo de paz Foundation three community centers.
This microproject will provide 90 children across Fundation Tiempo de Paz three community centers with support in literacy, mathematics, English, computer skills, and homework assistance. Through safe learning environments and guidance from volunteers and educators, children will strengthen their academic and digital skills, improve school performance, and build confidence to pursue brighter futures.
By improving academic performance and digital skills, this project will help 90 children increase their chances of staying in school and accessing better educational opportunities. In the long term, participants will be better prepared to navigate an increasingly digital world, reducing educational inequality and empowering them to build brighter futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.
