Challenge

In rural Siem Reap, many children grow up without access to quality education, nutritious meals, or proper healthcare. Families face poverty, limited job opportunities, and a lack of resources to support their children's learning. As a result, many children drop out of school to work or help at home, perpetuating a cycle of poverty.

Solution

Through the Temple Run, we aim to raise awareness and funds to ensure that 300 children from low-income families can attend school, receive daily nutritious meals, and access basic healthcare - giving them the opportunity to build a brighter, healthier future. Donations will help cover the costs for 2026, providing access to quality education, nutritious meals, proper healthcare, clean water, and sports training.

Long-Term Impact

We often take education for granted but in Cambodia, where an entire generation of educated people were killed by the Khmer Rouge, basic education is still a luxury. In the space of ten years our villagers have seen improvements in health, educational achievement and career prospects but there is still a long way to go. The continuation of our work will lead to even better health, greater career choice, long term financial stability and a real chance of self sufficiency for more than 500 people.
