With this project, technological tools will be provided: specific tablets. To support the 37% of the families that accompany the children with cerebral palsy from our school, they can solve the connectivity problems for the virtual sessions during this period of social distancing due to COVID 19. This will prevent children from lagging in the development of mobility and cognitive learning. Likewise, with this project we will support the adaptation of spaces in children's homes, to carry out.
During the social distancing that we carry out due to the COVID 19 pandemic in Mexico, classes in schools are held remotely. Childhood with cerebral palsy requires specialized care. We provide the Conducted Education service that requires materials, physical spaces and specific communication. 37% of the homes of the school children do not have the appropriate technological tools, which means that the children are missing their Conductive Education sessions to enable the motor development.
Con Nosotros, as an association, we will acquire easy-to-use tablets, and we will give them on loan to families. The school teachers will teach the use of this tool and how to connect in the distance. Above all, they will give them advice on how to adapt the space where they carry out the exercises to enable movement and the correct use of materials and technology.
All children with cerebral palsy in our school will receive the benefits of conductive education despite being in social distancing from COVID 19. They will be able to maintain their development and strengthen their motor, cognitive and socio-adaptive skills. they will feel accompanied by seeing their classmates in the distance, virtually.
