Every year, rural school children need school supplies when school starts. With just $12, you can help two children receive the school supplies they need to study all year long. Together we can help 292 children from 8 rural schools receive school supplies!
Rural families in Santiago del Estero do not have the resources to buy school supplies for their children. This often results in children not attending school because they do not have the necessary supplies to study. In addition, rural communities are located far from cities, making it even more difficult for them to have access to school supplies.
We will deliver pencil cases with pencils, crayons, highlighters, erasers, glue sticks, folders, pencil sharpeners, rulers (and much more!) so that 292 children from 8 rural schools will have enough school supplies for the whole year.
Fundacion San Genaro has been developing this project since 2011, helping more than 45 rural communities, with over 3000 rural children and 500 families, by improving not only access to basic services but also providing the tools to improve the educational process and quality of the rural schools in Santiago del Estero.
