By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader
We are deeply grateful for your support for brothers Festus and Joshua following the devastating house fire that claimed the lives of their father, stepmother, and two younger brothers.
Thanks in part to your generosity, Festus and Joshua have received the school supplies they needed to begin the new school year. Having these basic educational materials means the brothers can return to school prepared and continue their education despite the tremendous challenges they have experienced.
For children facing such a profound loss, being able to return to school provides more than supplies. It offers a sense of routine, connection, and hope for the future.
Your support has helped ease at least one immediate burden and reminded these brothers that they are not alone. By helping them stay connected to their education, you have invested in their future during one of the most difficult periods of their lives.
Thank you for helping Festus and Joshua continue their education and for giving them hope for a brighter future.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Amy and the Develop Africa Team
