This campaign will help children at Nourish Eco Village end the year feeling celebrated and begin 2027 feeling proud, prepared and included. For our creche graduates, a new school uniform and school shoes will help them start Grade 1 with confidence. We also want to extend this support to our Green Kidz children, many of whom need new uniforms for the 2027 school year. It will also recognise the Nourish team who work throughout the year to help children learn, grow and thrive.
Starting a new year without a complete uniform or suitable shoes can affect a child's confidence and sense of belonging. Many rural families cannot afford school uniforms, shoes or a Christmas celebration. This project will help children start 2027 feeling proud, included and ready to learn, while giving them a joyful Christmas
Funds raised will provide school uniforms and shoes for RISE Creche graduates and Green Kidz children, helping them start the 2027 school year prepared and confident. The project will also fund a joyful end-of-year celebration with a nutritious meal, Christmas gifts, treats, games and entertainment, while recognising the Nourish team who support our children throughout the year.
Starting school with the right uniform, shoes and a sense of pride can have an impact far beyond the first day. By helping children feel prepared, confident and included, we support positive engagement with education and a stronger sense of belonging. Over time, these small investments contribute to Nourish's wider goal of helping children thrive, stay engaged in learning and build pathways out of poverty.
