Our first 2 weekends in Eleuthera were such a huge success we went back for one more!

The residents of Eleuthera were so grateful for the assistance in Hatchet Bay and Governor's Harbour in March, that Baark! returned on April 30th and May 1st for a small clinic in Gregory Town.

62 spay and neuters were completed in 2 days taking our total surgeries to 368 in 3 weekends.

The animals bought to the clinic were a combination of owned pets and strays caught by our volunteers. We also used the opportunity to increase education about responsible pet ownership, especially to young people who visited us, handing out our coloring books.

Without your continued support, this would not be possible.

Thank you so so much!

We are so pleased to share that our 2 weekends in Eleuthera were a huge success because of you!

It was our first family island clinic since Dorian and Covid-19 and was very much needed for the animals in the communities of Eleuthera.  Preparing and planning for a MASH clinic takes a lot of work and preparation.  We sent our equipment and truck ahead of time on the mail boat and then volunteers organized to fly over.

Our first weekend was March 12 - 14 and we were based in Hatchet Bay in North Eleuthera, where 168 animals were spayed/neutered and vaccinated, 48 were dogs and 120 were cats.

The following weekend we headed down to Governors Harbour, Central Eleuthera, where 138 were completed combining 77 dogs and 61 cats -  taking our total to 306 ‘fixes’ on the island over the two weekends.

The animals bought to the clinic were a combination of owned pets and strays caught by our volunteers. We also used the opportunity to increase education about responsible pet ownership, especially to young people who visited us, handing out our colouring books.

Your support is invaluable and helps us continue this important work.

Thank you again from The Baark Team!
