Supply our volunteer sewers with the basic tools and supplies they need so they can continue making cloth diapers, wipes, and burial gowns for children in poverty.
The volunteers in our sewing circles are blessed with time and talent, but lack the funds to purchase 2 snap presses, snaps, and fabric to continue making cloth diapers, wipes, and burial gowns.
These women meet at least once a month, for most of the day, out of the goodness of their hearts. By supplying them with tools and supplies to continue making basic needs for children in poverty, we not only allow them to know they are loved and appreciated, but the items they make also help lift children out of poverty.
As our partner organizations continue to have their diaper needs solved, they are able to save funds and plan for future improvements in their care. This can mean adding educational programs, offering better healthcare, medical procedures to increase adoption opportunity for the orphan, special needs children, improved quality of food (more protein!) - all steps that set these children up for long term survival and productive members of society.
