Summary

At Develop Africa we have received a multitude of books and school supplies and we are so grateful for the outpouring of generosity, however due to the expensive cost of shipping these wonderful books and supplies are sitting in our office instead of in the hands of the kids that desperately need them. This project will cover the cost of shipping 8 drums full of books and school supplies to Sierra Leone.

Challenge

Each item on the back-to-school list (such as school supplies) is a potential added burden that could prevent a child from either attending school or benefiting in full from school. By shipping 8 drums of books and school supplies to Sierra Leone, we can provide these children with all the school supplies that they will need.

Solution

This project will help to bring economic relief to families by providing free books and school supplies. Funds will cover the cost of shipping 8 drums full of school books and supplies to help educate children in Sierra Leone. Your support will help provide school books and supplies to students in need for their primary school class work.

Long-Term Impact

The project is an effective way to help provide quality books and school supplies to more youths so that they can rise above poverty and become educated and better decision makers. Your support will help students become independent and self-sufficient and contribute to national development.
