In 2017, Shoulder to Shoulder sponsored Team Honduras to compete in the first ever world-wide Global Robotics Competition for high school students. Held in Washington DC, Team Honduras came in 40th out of 165 nations. Boy, were we excited!
In 2018, Shoulder to Shoulder will once again sponsor Team Honduras. This year's competition will take place in Mexico City. Teaching teenagers to build robotos is fun and exciting. Getting the team from Honduras to another country is incredibly complicated, time-consuming, and expensive. That is why StS ran the "Send Honduran Robotics Team to Mexico City" fundraising campaign.
