Micro Project closing report - Classrooms with new paintings and renovation- Thank you for help

By Joseph Anthony Chukka | Project Leader

Dear Friend, Namaste!

Greetings and good wishes to you from BASS, India

Thank you so much for your kind support and interest in the micro project of School Benches for a slum school in India.

This project aims to provide 20 school benches and desks for 150 children who are studying in a remote slum upper primary school in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh India operating by BASS. The school offers free primary and upper primary education to the children, along with daily nutritional meals. However, the classrooms are not equipped with school benches and desks, and the children have to sit on the black stone flooring. This affects their health, hygiene, and learning outcomes.

This project has raised only $530 out of the target amount of $4000, which is not enough to buy all the needed sets of  bench-desks. so we were able to make class rooms repairs and renaovation of  black boards and new paintings to class rooms. Thank you so much for your kind help which we made a great difference in the classrooms. Now Children are  very happy to stay in new painted classrooms.

But still the need of class room bench-desk needed to fully furnish the 8 classrooms in the school. The project is still open for donations in our main project and you can help by contributing any amount you can afford. Your donation will make a difference in the lives of these children, who deserve a dignified and safe learning environment.

Please make donation to our main project -Donate children in need in a slum school

BASS is a registered non-governmental organization that works for the welfare and development of marginalized communities in India. Please also share our project wit your friends and family networks.

Thank you for your support and generosity. Together, we can make a positive change in the world.

With gratitude
