These 3 sisters became orphans due to Ebola. Flourence is now in class 3 and would like to be a minister when she grows up. Hannah's in class 5 and wants to be a banker when she grows up. Fatmata is now in class 7 and would like to be doctor. These sisters live in the Dream Home orphanage and this project will help these sisters complete another year of school. It will also help cover the costs of housing, clothes, medical needs and nutritious meals.
According to the United Nations, 42% of African school children will drop out before the end of primary education. These 3 sisters are in the Dream Home orphanage and Develop Africa is committed to providing them with the opportunity of a better future. Together we can provide the needed support so that they do not drop of school and end up in undesirable lifestyles.
Funds from this project will help Hannah, Flourence and Fatmata continue their education and provide food and housing for a year. Your support will help provide all they need to be successful in school this year and empower these young women to become forward-thinking leaders of Sierra Leone.
Healthy, well-educated and emancipated women are an excellent foundation for a new and free society. Your support will help these sisters get to the ultimate goal of finishing school and becoming independent and self-sufficient. In their chosen future careers, they will also be contributing to national development.
