Three Motivation meetings for tribe and other forest dwellers on forest conservation and the importance discussing their right and livelihood MFP (minor forest produces) and importance of environments. 350 women,tribe and students belonging to forest area have participated. They have been fully empowered against tree felling and immediate action against tree fellers.
One Case CRIMINAL ORIGINAL PETITION (MD) 23917/2016 was filed under in chennai High Court, Madurai Bench for seeking action against 7 illegal tree fellers. in the matter alreday 4 have been punished after our petition droped.Tribe and Forest dwellers conservation act 2006 is being now implemented after lobby / advocacy has been made with District adminstration and higher level forest department officals.
People committee is setup involving local tribe and forest dwellers and are under vigilence for protecting trees and environemnt..
