As you know from our previous message your thoughtful donation made it possible for us to pay the expenses for our volunteers to travel to and from our branch during the vital holiday period.
I now have the statistics for our branch for December and I thought you may like to know that we answered 3412 calls and responded to 1540 emails. We are especially proud of this total as for most of this period we were operating during a national lockdown. A new varient of the Covid-19 virus was affecting the UK population in increasing numbers and the availability of our volunteers was much reduced. As usual everybody stepped up and did what they could to keep the service going 24/7 throughout, helped so much by the fact that your donations helped us with transport, keeping our volunteers as safe as possible.
Thank you once again, I have no doubt that your kindness helped to change someone's story this Christmas.
