Over the past months, we have worked hard to secure funds to restore and repair our Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System to continue providing safe drinking water to our community. While we did not reach our initial fundraising goal, this journey helped us reflect on how we can best support the long-term water security of Siargao.
Through our partnerships with Safe Water for Every Child and Disaster Aid Australia, we made the decision to invest in a SkyHydrant Max filtration system—an advanced, more sustainable solution that aligns with our mission of providing free, clean water to schools, households, and vulnerable community members.
Why SkyHydrant?
The SkyHydrant Max system offers several key benefits:
No electricity required, ensuring reliable access to clean water even during power outages.
Filters up to 10,000 liters per day, significantly increasing our capacity.
Removes bacteria, viruses, and contaminants, delivering 99.99% safe drinking water.
Cost-effective & low maintenance, making it a long-term sustainable solution for our community.
Thanks to this investment, we have expanded our free drinking water program and can now distribute safe water to more schools and families across Burgos.
Selling Our Reverse Osmosis System
As we transition to SkyHydrant, we are announcing the sale of our Reverse Osmosis Water Refill System. This system is still operational and well-maintained but requires membrane filter replacements to restore full capacity. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact us for more details.
Though our fundraising journey took an unexpected turn, we are proud to have found a better, more sustainable way to serve our community. Thank you to everyone who supported this mission—we couldn’t have done it without you!
Together, we are ensuring clean water access for all!
