This project will provide nutritious Iftar meals to 100 struggling elderly women during Ramadan, expected to begin in February 2027. Many live with little or no reliable income, have no spouse or partner to support them, and cannot afford enough food to break their fast. Each woman will receive prepared meals and safe drinking water. The project will reduce hunger and help elderly women observe Ramadan and break their fast with a proper meal.
Many elderly women living in poverty struggle to afford enough food for daily meals. Some are widowed, live alone, or have no spouse or reliable family support, while age and limited income make earning a living difficult. During Ramadan, these hardships can leave them fasting throughout the day without a nutritious meal for Iftar. This project will help 100 elderly women facing hunger and food insecurity during Ramadan.
This project will provide Iftar meals and safe drinking water to 100 struggling elderly women throughout Ramadan. Donations will be used to purchase food ingredients, prepare nutritious meals, package them safely, and distribute them to selected elderly women before Iftar. Priority will be given to widows, women living alone, and those with little or no reliable income or family support.
The project will help 100 struggling elderly women access nutritious meals during Ramadan while reducing the financial pressure of finding food each day. Regular Iftar meals can help protect their health, reduce hunger, and give them greater food security throughout the fasting month. It can also build a lasting support network that identifies elderly women living alone or without reliable family assistance for future humanitarian support.
