Northern Nigeria is facing a worsening hunger crisis driven by insecurity, bandit attacks, displacement, rising food prices, and poor access to farmland. Thousands of vulnerable families struggle to afford daily meals, leaving children at risk of malnutrition and illness. This project will provide food assistance, including rice, beans & other staples to struggling & displaced Families. Your support will help families survive, protect children's health & restore hope during this difficult period.
Millions of people across Northern Nigeria face crisis, food insecurity as conflict, bandit attacks, displacement, rising food prices, and humanitarian crises disrupt livelihoods. Many farmers can no longer safely access their land, reducing food production and household income. Aid cuts have worsened the situation, and children are dying daily in IDP camps due to a lack of healthcare, food, and access to clean water.
This project will provide emergency food assistance to displaced families affected by the crisis in Northern Nigeria. With staple foods such as rice, beans, and other nutritious items, families will receive immediate relief from hunger. The project will also provide mobile healthcare, free medicines, medical screening for common illnesses, and access to clean drinking water. Special consideration will be given to widows, older persons, people with disabilities, and families with young children.
This project will reduce hunger, improve nutrition, and help vulnerable families recover from conflict and displacement. Better access to food, healthcare, and clean water will reduce malnutrition and preventable deaths, especially among children and older persons. It will support recovery, help families rebuild their livelihoods, become more self-reliant, and, where possible, return safely to their communities or begin a new life elsewhere.
