This microproject will give a contributory scholarship to two Afghan girls. It will contribute to the costs of tuition, books, school uniforms, stationary supplies and transport so that the girls can attend a private high school or university. Without this scholarship, the girls would be unable to attend a quality educational institution.
Afghanistan lacks educational infrastructure and does not have enough public high schools and universities for all students to attend. Where public schools do exist, they often do not offer a high quality education. This project will make it possible for two female students to attend a private high school or university, where they will receive high quality instruction.
This microproject will provide two Afghan girls with contributory scholarships towards the cost of tuition, books, school uniforms, stationary supplies and transport. All of these needs are necessary for them to attend a private high school or (except for uniforms) a university.
This project changes the course of the lives of two Afghan students. By providing students with the funds necessary to attend school, you are giving them a way to a better life, a life with options. It is CHI's belief that the way to peace in Afghanistan is through education for all. By helping to provide scholarships to Afghan students, you are helping to build a brighter, more peaceful future for families and the country as a whole.
