Kwee oo, Kwee oo, Kwee oo to my special friends,
This is the call I was making this morning.
For some reasons, I fell a bit of emotion from the Daktari Office and I thought I should get attention so somebody would come and tell me the great news.
Meghan, a volunteer from California, and Michele came quickly to enjoy my call and to let me know that the project for my food on GlobalGiving has been fully funded.
What a great wake up.... I knew something was going on as there was too much happiness around.
I would like to say a massive thank you for YOUR support in feeding me.
As I can’t hunt and catch any prey by myself anymore due to my injury, YOU have really made a difference in my life.
Daktari will be able to concentrate on other animals in need and carry on educating local children about the importance of the environment.
Lots of love to you all who have participated to my food.
Scotty Kwee oo Kwee oo Kwee oo
Thank you very much for contributing towards Scotty’s food for the year!
With your donation we were able to provide Scotty with meat for the next 1.5 months!
We still need more though, our goal is to achieve a year’s food, so please keep the good work going.
Our African Hawk Eagle Scotty is looking good, she even is trying to use his injured wing more. It is going in the positive direction. She really enjoys taking her daily bath.
The local children we teach every week usually don’t know a lot about eagles. And they don’t see them as these beautiful animals, but more as a burden. Luckily we have our African Hawk Eagle that changes their opinion.
Thank you very much for your support toward Scotty’s food!
Best regards,
Ian and Michele Merrifield
