Baby Brielle and her Mother Lissette arrived in Kaoshiung, Taiwan on February 17, 2017 to prepare for an urgent liver transplant surgery that is intended to help save little Brielle from a life threatening disease. In early December her life hung in the balance of a $40,000 shortfall to pay for the surgery. However, Brielle's Mom conducted a Christmas cookie baking campaign and GlobalGiviing donors to Asia America Initiative provided the funds needed to pay the balance of the hospital bills. In addition, the Philippine Airline Foundation made sure that Brielle's Dad and little brother could be in Taiwan to provide encouragement and moral support.
Lissette says, "Thanks to friends such as Asia America Initiative and their GlobalGiving donors, Family, Friends and Prayer Partners. We are soooo grateful to all who have contributed both prayers and financial donations. Much appreciation to you all!"
On the 19th me and Brielle will be admitted until Feb 24 for our pre-operative work-ups. Hopefully, after those tests she Brielle will be scheduled for her liver transplant. "We ask for your prayers for her recovery," says Lissette. "God is very good. We are enroute to Success!!"
