We Have Now Got Machines That Are Fast And Will Save Us Time to Make Dresses

Thank You So Much For Your Generous Gift
Thank You So Much For Your Generous Gift

Dear Project Supporters,

The tailoring tutors and trainees were very delighted to receive 4 new sewing machines provided by GlobalGiving Donors. The new machines replaced 4 broken sewing machines that were no longer in use.

Before the arrival of the new machines, some of the trainees had to wait for their turn to use a functioning sewing machine. After receiving the new machines, Hassanatu, one of the trainees said: “Thank God the wait is over.” Zainab echoed: “We have now got machines that are fast and will save us time to make dresses.”

Impact: More work is performed by a single trainee - now that an adequate number of machines are available.  The trainees are able to learn more effectively and are showing their commitment by spending more time practicing. The trainees come in by 9:00 am and stay up to 5:00 pm each week day.

In the photos, tailoring trainees are holding a handmade sign saying, "Thanks so much for your generous gift."

We appreciate YOU and are grateful for your support.

Best Regards,

Develop Africa team
