This project will help the poor Cambodians villagers to be able to start or expand their microbusinesses in order to improve their quality of living by growing their businesses with that money and also educating them about using microfinance and also providing them life skills on budgeting, child protection and the important of education. This will then our villagers have self-confidently to move out of poverty.
Our people are living in the poor condition, so most of them really need the money to improve their living by starting or expanding their microbusinesses, but the problem is they don't have the collateral to borrow money from the banks or other financial institutions. Also regarding to their literate struggling and lack of education, they are difficult to find ways to improve their quality of living and lack of life skills knowledge such as managing money and important of education.
With our small loans, our villagers are not required to provide collateral. This allows them to have the money to start or expand their microbusinesses. This will then, we can work with them to solve those problem by educating them the opportunity to improve their lives, providing budgeting and child protection workshops, engage them and their children with our program such as education, sewing and also assist them in solving some of the life skills challenges they may have.
Our microfinance is an important part of solution because it provides a stable and sustainable source of income that enables our villagers to move out of poverty, while providing better living conditions and opportunities for their families. For instant, we have provided more than 10 villagers in our community; some of them are able to expand their businesses and gained the knowledge about managing their money, especially saving for their futures and finally their children.
