Challenge

Many girls, including daughters of sex workers, face a high risk of trafficking, sexual exploitation, and abuse. Poverty, limited education, and poor public knowledge of trafficking warning signs leave them exposed to traffickers. Many community members do not know how to identify, report, or prevent suspected trafficking cases.

Solution

Through this project we'll organize a community mountain hike where participants will learn how traffickers target girls, recognise warning signs, report suspected cases, and connect girls at risk with available support. Educational materials will be distributed, while community leaders, youth groups, and volunteers will join the campaign and share the information within their communities.

Long-Term Impact

The project will build public knowledge of sex trafficking and encourage communities to protect girls at risk. Participants will continue sharing prevention and reporting information with families, and schools. Survivors will also have the opportunity to share their experiences voluntarily. Their stories will help participants understand trafficking risks, recognise warning signs, report suspected cases, and connect vulnerable girls with available support.
