Your donations helped Anise move into her own apartment with her baby! There was a bit of delay getting all the funds together, but she is doing so great! Anise has been at her job for several months. She is also receiving counseling from us because of the abuse she suffered from her husband in France.
Here is part of an email we recently received from Anise. "Sometimes I didn't think I was strong enough to get through this. Now I have a job I love, support from you, my parents have been so happy I am home, and I have a safe home for Milo. I am thankful every day for finding you."
We want to thank you for helping Anise! Another family safe and sound after fleeing abuse from abroad.
We also wanted you to know that we have changed the name of the organization to Pathways To Safety International. We feel the new name better reflects the work we do to help American victims of interpersonal and gender based violence abroad.
