Plastic Surgery for Burn Survivor Baby John

WE ARE SOOOO HAPPY!!!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CONTRIBUTED TO THE PLASTIC SURGERY OF BABY JOHN! YOU HAVE COMPLETELY HELPED CHANGE HIS FUTURE! 

• On Wednesday 19 April the fundraising project has been completed and full amount of money for his surgery raised.

• We have made immedicate phone calls to the plastic surgeon Dr Kalanzi from the Surgeon's Plaza in Kampala and booked the surgery for the same week on Sunday the 23rd of April 2017.

• Our Whisper's Chief Medical Officer Dr Muyomba decided to take John and his mother to the Suergeon's Plaza on Saturday 22nd of April for admission. They were brought by our Whisper car, fueling 100,000 UGX ($27), we provided food for them in the supermarket worth of 17,000 UGX ($5) and we left her with 25,000 UGX ($7) for other needs.

• The surgery was successful and everything went well and John was discharged on Tuesday 25th of April, where Dr Muyomba again took the initiative and went to pick them up to bring them to our hospital ($27 for fuel).

• John and his mother are now admitted at our hospital for further treatment and re-dressing of the wounds (all expenses are catered for by our charity)

• John was taken back for a review on the 28th of April by Dr Fahad by our Whisper car and the plastic surgeon 

• The hand is heling very well, Johns elbow joint is now flexible and fingers were seperated from one another too.

On behalf of Johny's mother, we would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who felt passionate about John's surgery, and more so about being a part of the reason why his future will be brighter.
