Tetyana and Oksana are refugees we've been supporting since fall 2022. They want to improve their qualifications and complete a course to work as a kindergarten teacher's assistants - the profession they were doing before the outbreak of war in Ukraine. We need your support. The cost of the course for both ladies is $855. For Oksana and Tetiana this is a very high amount. Let's help them change their lives for the better and get a better-paying job that gives them not only money, but also joy!
Both ladies must support themselves in their new country, they have children and their own needs and dreams. Before the war, they worked in kindergartens. Their current job here is not a dream job. Getting qualifications to work with children will allow them to return to their favorite job again and give them a sense of independence. They will also be able to support the development of Ukrainian children who have settled in our region with their parents.
One of vocational schools for adults in Elk offers courses for kindergarten teacher assistance. This course will help two women to gain qualifications that will allow them to have the job they did before the war. After finishing it the ladies will have the right to work in kindergartens. There are 23 kindergartens in Ek, but they lack caregivers who speak Ukrainian and can give refugee children a sense of security. Thanks to the acquired rights, it will be possible to reduce this problem.
Two ladies will gain qualifications for their dream job. There are 23 kindergartens in Ek attended by Polish and Ukrainian children. Therefore, the facilities also need qualified staff ready to work with refugee children. Tetiana and Oksana will be able to look into the future with optimism, work with children and fulfill their dreams.
