In the report period, 50000 saplings are produced in the three nurseries. They are produced as matured and high quality and being planted. They are giving 95 percent survivals in the plantation. The sapligns aresuitable to plant in Mountain ecosystem, Territorial ecosystem and forest ecosystem, where to be planted. In the nurseries 25 kinds of important environmental based trees kinds’ saplings are exist.
We collecting seeds / seedlings of endangered species and environmental important varieties from various places and develop the nurseries. Three nurseries exist that one at Kudiraiyaru village for Forest area planting for promoting forest ecosystem, another one is at Sirumalai Village for mountain planting (mountain ecosystem) and another one is at Illuppur at land area planting (territorial ecosystem)
