Dear Sponsors,
We recently returned from spending 2 months in Vietnam working with our music students and setting up new programs. Our music teacher Tuan has been teaching strings to our 22 students for the past year, and was very excited to move into the new building we were able to rent for the school.
While in Vietnam, we found an excellent professional violinist to work with Tuan. As a young man he himself was trained professionally while living in Spain, and is a talented and experienced violinist and teacher. Tuan is very excited to have this opportunity and says he has been anxious to be able to spend time with a teacher to be able to work on improving his technique and learn more about music theory.
Tuan started the lessons that you have provided him, in August and he travels to Nha Trang city on his motorbike once a week to take a 2 hour lesson, and yes, he carries his violin on his motorbike! Thanks to you, Rock-Paper-Scissors Children’s Fund will be able to support lessons for him for well over a year. Of course we are very anxious to visit with Tuan again or Skype with him and watch and hear his progress.
Tuan would like to thank all of our donors who supported his project and for giving him the opportunity to continue to develop his musical skills and pass that knowledge onto his students.
Thank you again,
The Rock-Paper-Scissors Children’s Fund Team
